Bad Advice Club is an Indie/Alternative group formed in 2016 at St. Olaf College. Founding members Ben Dyleuth and Micah Sindelar met in their third year at the College, after being placed on the same Resident Assistant team. Initially just looking for people to jam with, the duo found similar creative drives and invited Michael Banwart and Olaf Sunleaf to the group to create the original lineup of Bad Advice Club.

After finding a lot of local support from the student body and the community in Northfield, MN, the band relocated to the Twin Cities, where they released their debut EP "Subject to Change".

After a year of performing in the Twin Cities local music scene, Michael Banwart moved to Illinois and amicably parted with the band. John Carson took over the mantle left by Michael and helped develop the bands sound from indie pop to a more experimental sound, incorporating jazz, blues, and funk to complement their indie dance rock energy.

Bad Advice Club is vocalist and guitarist Ben Dyleuth, bassist Micah Sindelar, pianist John Carson, and drummer Olaf Sunleaf.
